The St. Albert RCMP are hoping the public can help with identifying a man who broke into a local cannabis store Nov. 27 and didn’t steal anything, only to have a second man carrying a similar backpack return the next morning to finish the job. The unknown first man, described as being 40 to 50 years old and shown on the store’s security camera footage, brazenly broke the front glass window of the store at about 11:30 pm, unlocked the door and entered the shop, according to St. Alberta Today . At about 7:30 the next day, another man described to be 25 to 35 years old returned to the store, removed the window repairs and unlocked the front door. This time, though, the RCMP reports the man made off with a lighter and cannabis pre-rolls worth about $100, St. Albert Today reports. This man was also carrying an orange and white backpack with black padding. The RCMP has requested that anyone with knowledge of the break-ins to contact the police.
