A hotel manager from Virginia has been arrested and charged in New Jersey after police found 50 pounds (23 kilograms) of cannabis in the trunk of his car, reports Essex Daily Voice. Ryan Barnes, 45, was stopped by police in New Jersey’s Bergen county earlier this week. Police allege Barnes had “inconsistencies in his story” and decided to call for the K9 unit to inspect his vehicle. Officers then searched the car and found cannabis concealed in several suitcases with a reported value of US$125,000 ($161,250). They also recovered US$6,800 ($8,772) in cash.
