New Jersey Governor Signs Bill Extending Tax Deductions to Cannabis Companies

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed into law this week giving licensed cannabis businesses a standard business tax credit, aimed at making the state’s regulated marijuana industry more viable. The bill, which separates New Jersey’s tax code from federal tax code Section 280E, was signed into law by Murphy on Monday after the state legislature
