Top CDC Official Suggests Legal Marijuana Regulations Can Mitigate Vaping Injuries

A top official with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggested on Friday that regulating and labeling marijuana products such as THC vape cartridges would help to protect consumers, though she stopped short of explicitly calling for a legalization policy that would allow federal agencies to follow through with those moves. CDC Principal Deputy Director Anne Schuchat appeared on a C-SPAN program and took questions from callers for a segment focusing on the rise of vaping-related injuries.
