The UK needs to ‘get ready’ for more changes to cannabis laws, former Metropolitan Police commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe has said.
Lord Hogan-Howe, who has always supported tough laws on cannabis, said that practically speaking it’s likely there will be a ‘slide’ towards recreational use being accepted. ‘We already know from the evidence around the world that where people use it for medicinal purposes, it slides into recreational,’ he said.
