Arvada-based Ceria Brewing Co. became a pioneer of marijuana-infused beverages when it debuted its first THC beer in 2018. But right now, the company’s offerings are not available in its home state and it’s unclear when they will return to Colorado dispensaries. Jodi Villa, co-founder and CEO of Ceria Brewing Co., tells The Denver Post that the beverage company discontinued production in July because it no longer has a local partner licensed to package the THC beer. Because laws prohibit marijuana from crossing state lines, products sold in Colorado must also be manufactured here. Ceria previously worked with Keef Brands and Denver Packaging Company to infuse and can its lineup of beers, which includes Grainwave Beligan-style white ale (5 milligrams THC) and Indiewave IPA (10 milligrams THC/10 milligrams CBD).
