Cannabinoids Test Method and Standardized Operating Procedures Correction to Notice of Proposed Rulemaking

July 15, 2022 The Department of Cannabis Control (Department) provided notice on June 17, 2022, of its intent to adopt regulations establishing a standard cannabinoids test method, including standardized operating procedures, that shall be utilized by all licensed testing laboratories in California. After mailing copies of the notice and proposed text, the Department discovered a typographical error concerning the day of the week of the scheduled public hearing. The day of the week is listed incorrectly as Tuesday, August 1, 2022; the correct date for the hearing is Monday, August 1, 2022, 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Attendees wishing to participate in the virtual hearing may view the notice provided on June 17, 2022, for this regulatory action for instructions on accessing the hearing. The notice of proposed rulemaking, proposed text of regulations, and initial statement of reasons for this rulemaking action can be viewed on the Department’s website at https://cannabis.ca.gov/cannabis-laws/rulemaking/.
