Oregon: Further Important Update on Psilocybin Facilitator Training Programs
CANNANNEW REPORT

IMPORTANT UPDATE on Psilocybin Facilitator Training Programs 05/27/2022 Dear Partners, Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) continues to work diligently in anticipation of accepting facilitator training program curriculum applications beginning Monday, June 6, 2022. More information on how training programs can apply for curriculum approval will be announced soon. OPS recently learned that psilocybin facilitator training programs may be subject to licensure by the Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) in Oregon. We wanted to share the information we have at this time and will continue to update you as we learn more. The attached exemption form should be sent to the HECC if a psilocybin facilitator training program qualifies for an exemption.   LICENSING       345.015 Application of ORS 345.010 to 345.450. ORS 345.010 to 345.450 do not apply to: (1) Instruction or training solely avocational or recreational in nature or to institutions offering such education exclusively. (2) Instruction or training sponsored or offered by a bona…
