After reading this great report in Green Market Report last week which provided some reality about the cannabis industry and the role of women in its upper echelons, or lack thereof we should say. Green Market Report: Women are Losing Power in Cannabis at an Alarming Rate It really is quite depressing to see that it appears that it is still ok to call a cannabis strain Jack The Ripper After the death of its creator in 2020 We noticed this report in Cannigma today singing the strain’s praises and making some pretty poor excuses for its name The name Jack the Ripper is not an homage to late 19th century serial killers, rather, it speaks to the heritage of the strain.  The strain was reportedly developed by Subcool’s the Dank, the same breeder behind the strain Chernobyl (he has a thing for names that aren’t especially chill). He has described it as a cross of a Space Queen male with a Jack’s Cleaner clone — the latter being a strain that was also developed by Subcool.
