South Australia: SA Police seize 260 cannabis plants from ‘large and sophisticated’ crop at Sellicks Beach

Nearly 260 cannabis plants have been seized by police from a “large and sophisticated” crop on a property south of Adelaide. Key points: Officers arrested a man and a woman, both aged 51, from Sellicks Beach The pair were charged with several offences They were bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court SA Police (SAPOL) attended the property, on Seascape View at Sellicks Beach, just after 9:30am on Saturday. During a search, officers uncovered the hydroponic cannabis crop being grown in six rooms inside the property. In a statement, SAPOL said officers arrested a 51-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman, both from Sellicks Beach, and charged them with cultivating a commercial quantity of a controlled drug, possessing prescribed equipment and diverting electricity. The pair have been bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on July 23.
