The man known professionally as Joe Exotic, currently in prison for murder-for-hire and numerous breaches of the Endangered Species Act , is reportedly looking to launch his own cannabis line. In an exclusive interview with TMZ , the lawyer for convicted felon Joseph Maldonado-Passage reports his client has a deal with two partners to launch Joe Exotic Cannabis. From behind bars, where he continues to serve a 22-year prison sentence, lawyer Brad Small said Maldonado-Passage will carry out his duties for the business via emails with Small. According to TMZ , Maldonado-Passage will receive compensation in exchange for use of his name and planned products for the line will include CBD edibles that help ease pain from various ailments.
