What seemingly was a serious tweet from Newsmax host Greg Kelly kicked off what began as genuine advice that quickly devolved into parody, albeit sometimes hilarious, after he tweeted that consuming a bit of bud led to his lost weed weekend “back in the day.” The host of Greg Kelly Reports on Newsmax and of The Greg Kelly Podcast inspired support and lampooning, by turns, after he reported having experienced a four-day blackout after partaking in some pot with a few buddies at an unspecified point in his past. “SMOKING WEED (aka GRASS) is NOT a good idea. I’ve tried it (back in the day) and it was WORSE than anything that happened to HUNTER BIDEN,” notes the tweet attributed to Kelly . “I ‘toked up’ with some buddies in Kentucky and woke up 4 days later in Nairobi, Kenya. With no idea what happened.
