There’s not much time left, but the CEO of a L.A.-based weed company is asking President Donald Trump to pardon Parker Coleman, who will spend the next five decades in jail for a non-violent cannabis offence if he is not granted leniency. “Now in his mid-30s and having already served a decade of his sentence, unless Parker is granted a second chance at life by you, he will be in his 80s when he is released, a de facto life sentence,” Kyle Kazan, CEO of Glass House Group, writes in a Jan. 11, 2021 open letter to the president.
