An 81-year-old Larder Lake resident has been charged with drug-related offences following the execution of a search warrant. According to police officials, on November 27, the North East Region Community Street Crime Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence on Godfrey St. in Larder Lake, Ont. Total estimated street value of the seizure is over $29,000.” As a result, Real Groulx, age 81, of Larder Lake, has been charged with the following: possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking — cocaine, contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; possession for the purpose of distributing, contrary to Section 9(2) of the Cannabis Act; and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, contrary to Section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
