Interaction between CBD & Beta-Blockers

CBD can be quite an efficient disease-buster for people suffering from high blood pressure and heart diseases – the intended effect of beta-blockers. Some people may even opt to use CBD oil instead of beta-blockers as it has the same effect while being a cheaper option with fewer side effects.  CBD is generally a safe option over other agents and doesn’t usually interact with other medications. However, you must understand that when two chemical agents use the same pathway to enter the bloodstream, there is a possibility of an interaction.  Both these two chemical compounds require cytochrome P450 – a type of protein, secreted by the liver to metabolize certain kinds of drugs and all toxins introduced into the body.
