Bassist from “System of a Down” Launches Cannabis Brand in Arizona Dispensaries

Image Source: azmarijuana Shavo Odadjian, the bassist for System of a Down, is launching his synesthesia-inspired cannabis company named 22Red to Arizona. The brand is set to launch in dispensaries this weekend.  Many other celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Kristen Bell, and others have taken over to their social media accounts to show their love for CBD products and tell how it has helped improve their lifestyle.  CBD, or cannabidiol, is non-psychoactive in nature and is derived from Cannabis plants. Due to its alleged medicinal properties of treating inflammation, muscle soreness, spasms, chronic pain, insomnia, depression, stress, and anxiety, CBD has rapidly risen to popularity. A wide variety of people ranging between the age of teenagers to the elderly have been using CBD for fighting their ailments.  CBD has also been in the limelight for treating life-threatening diseases such as cancer, Alzheimer’s, Tourette, and epilepsy. While there’s scientific evidence that proves the efficacy of CBD in treating epilepsy, there’s still a long way to go when it comes to ailments like cancer.  Nonetheless, cannabis-based companies continue to flood the U.S. consumer market, and the latest celebrity to hop onto the cannabis bandwagon is Odadjian. With his brand launching in Arizona, many of the products will be on sale at several dispensaries starting on February 22, Saturday.  Odadjian will be present at Curaleaf’s midtown location, and SWC in Tempe, to help do the kickoff on Saturday. Currently, the dispensary offerings by 22Red will be limited to only eighths of select prerolled joints…
