Top Connecticut Lawmakers File Marijuana Legalization Bill On Behalf Of Governor

A governor-backed marijuana legalization bill was introduced by Connecticut’s top lawmakers on Thursday. The “Governor’s Bill,” filed by Senate President Pro Tem Martin Looney (D) and House Speaker Joe Aresimowicz (D), would allow adults 21 and older to possess and purchase up to one and a half ounces of cannabis from a licensed retailer.
