Colorado launches two pilot programs to make cannabis industry more eco-friendly – Plans to Reduce Carbon Dioxide Emissions

Colorado’s health department and energy office recently took an initiative towards making the Colorado cannabis industry more eco-friendly. The duo has launched two new pilot programs that are aimed at reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy efficiency at local cultivations.  Both programs support Gov. Jared Polis’ mission to reduce greenhouse gases by 50% by 2030.  The first program is the Carbon Dioxide Reuse Project, where the Denver Beer Co. is collaborating with the Clinic dispensary to recycle carbon emissions.
