Nebraska Gets Green Light to Start Accepting Hemp Farming Applications

The US Department of Agriculture announced on Monday that it had approved Nebraska’s plan to regulate hemp agriculture in the state. With the move, the Nebraska Department of Agriculture will begin accepting applications for licenses to grow, process, and sell hemp beginning on Monday. Under the 2018 Farm Bill, industrial hemp was removed from the federal list of controlled substances.
