Boston Mayor Approves Changes To Cannabis Business Review Process

Marty Walsh signed off on an ordinance Tuesday, designed to install an independent Cannabis Board Marijuana Equity Ordinance 50% of Boston’s licenses  will now go to companies from communities affected by the war on drugs, and the ordinance also  creates a  fund dedicated to supporting minority-owned cannabis companies. The Mayor has reached agreements with 14 marijuana businesses proposing to open in Boston.
